BEST IN TRAVEL

Brief
When Lonely Planet was planning to name British Columbia one of the world's top 25 destinations for their Best in Travel 2026 campaign, they commissioned us to create the video that would showcase why.

Over three days of principal photography, we captured BC's unique blend of outdoor adventure and urban culture — kayaking Deep Cove, exploring Stanley Park, wandering Granville Island's public market, crossing Lynn Canyon's suspension bridge, and hitting local spots like Honey's Doughnuts and Cypress Mountain. We collaborated with Lonely Planet's editorial team to weave in indigenous cultural elements, ensuring the content authentically represented BC's diverse heritage alongside its natural beauty.

The challenge was logistical: comprehensive pre-production to secure filming locations, coordinate appearance releases, and build a detailed itinerary optimized for lighting conditions across Vancouver and surrounding areas. We delivered a content library that included video footage and 20 edited images — versatile assets that positioned British Columbia as a premier travel destination for Lonely Planet's global audience.

Impact
The final video became one of the strongest pieces in the entire Best in Travel campaign.
